So, the new laptop has arrived, and been laden with the necessities. Finally, the time comes to load it with sufficient communications software to manage my IMs and such. I'm giving Digsby another shot - my first run with it was horribly disappointing, but Trillian is looking dated, and Astra has done much to convince me that it will be a performance hog from the get-go. Digsby looks to be building up to a multi-platform model, so being able to run it on my Mac and my linux boxes in the future will be an asset. Here's hoping that its not as much of a system hog as it was the last time I tested it.
